Subang

Subang is an indigenous craft. It is made from colorful yarns and they resemble flowers. The Subang that I did was really easy because it just consists of rotating yarn on a hard object then cutting it.

My insight in this activity was it was easy to do but I lacked creativity because I crammed into making this. When we were asked to model our own designs, mine can't be worn as earrings because they were so heavy so I tucked it behind my ear like what they do in Hawaii with real flowers. It's really pretty as it resembles a real flower and it doesn't wither. The pictures below are the steps I did and me trying my best to model them. It was hard to turn them into earrings but eventually, I found an alternative.
